Has anyone done buisness with stipulating?|
I'm selling a scarf to her for £4, we agreed this equated to $7 and that she would pay in English sterling.
I only recieved her money today after about 3 weeks, and she has sent me $4 despite me telling her a number of times I only accepted foreign currency over £10 and that she'd need to pay in sterling.
When you received the money today did you let her know she owed more? It sounds like she's confused, and if she's in the united states, I don't know how she'd be able to get english sterling to send to you, but if she's in the same country as you, then I understand your frustration.
Yeah, we've been communicating through email and I've made it perfectly clear than she needed to give me UK sterling. She even acknowledged it at one point.
Foreign Currency exchanges (travel agents) change currency. Or she could have written me a cheque. There's plenty of ways around it.
wow, I see why you're frustrated then. If it were me, I'd just send the $4 back and call it off. It seems like maybe she's hoping you'll just take the $4 and give her the scarf. Sorry this had to happen to you, how obnoxious!
I know, its so rude. I'm tempted to leave her some bad feedback.. but maybe she's just stupid.
I'm not losing out on postage for this so I'll send her it back minus postage costs.
Do you think I should report?
I had held items for them and never got any response through comments/emails, etc. Sorry you had to go through that.
